Guarantees

All new equipment and products sold by Resonance Studios are guaranteed for a period of one year from the date of purchase unless specified otherwise.

Some products may have a longer manufacturers warranty period. If you have any questions on warranties then please e-mail or call us..

Faulty Goods

If you have received an item and it is faulty then please get in touch straight away. We will do our utmost to sort out any problem quickly and to your satisfaction.

Where items are faulty within 7 days from date of purchase, they will be classed as an out of box failure. These items will be collected, and replaced with an identical product (subject to availability of stock).

We may ask you to post small, low cost items, such as headphones, back to us.

Any items over 28 days old will need to be returned to either our service department, the manufacturer or their appointed agent for warranty repair. We will always advise you of the return address details that you should send the goods to where this is not our normal returns address.

Returns

The majority of items that we sell are covered by the Distance Selling Regulations in the UK which gives you 7 working days from receipt of the goods to cancel the contract and return them.

If you do wish to return an item then please contact us and we’ll give you the relevant information – buyers are responsible for the cost of shipping items back to us and also for ensuring they arrive back to us in good condition.

Installation/Set-Up Problems

If you are having any issues whilst setting up or installing your equipment then please get in touch. We are available to assist via e-mail, telephone or in-store. We have friendly, knowledgeable staff who will be more than happy to assist you to the best of their ability.

Along with your rights under Distance Selling Regulations, we’ll give you up to 14 days to return goods from the date of purchase. Just get in touch and we’ll be happy to help deal with your return. Used/Opened packages may be subject to a re-stocking fee. 

Should you wish to cancel an order prior to dispatch – simply get in touch. 

Returns (as covered by Distance Selling Regulations)

At Resonance Studios, we are committed to your satisfaction with every purchase. Should a return be required, we aim to make this as smooth as possible. Our 30-day return policy ensures that you can shop confidently, knowing that we have you covered. Please read the following guidelines to help ensure we 

1. Return Options:

Full refund/exchange: Within 14 days of receiving the item
Exchange/credit only: Within 30 days of receiving the item.

2. Initiating a Return:

To receive a full refund within 14 days, notify us promptly and return the product within the next 14 days. You may contact us via email (john@resonancestudios.co.uk) to initiate a return.

For exchanges within 30 days, notify us within the period and return the item within 14 days. Items received beyond this timeframe may be rejected. 

3. Return Conditions:

Items should be returned unopened/unused, in original packaging, and in a resellable condition.

Free items accompanying the purchase should be returned unused and in a resellable condition.

Any damage, defacement, or missing accessories may result in rejection.

Restocking, minimum fee:

10% – Outer retail packaging lost, damaged, unsealed or defaced.
10% – Internal packaging lost, damaged, or defaced.
10% – Original accessories lost or damaged.
10% to 100% – Condition of product damaged, scratched or defaced.

4. Non-Returnable Items:

  • Unsealed software.
  • Digitally delivered goods.
  • Record Stylus
  • Hardware with registered software licences.
  • Custom-built or modified products.
  • Special order merchandise.
  • Vouchers (Digital & Printed)
  • In-ear/canal headphones for hygienic reasons (unless faulty)

5. How to Initiate a Return:

Obtain an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number by emailing john@resonancestudios.co.uk
Place the original package into a shipping carton, with the RMA number clearly written on the outer box.
Ship via an insured postal service with a tracking number. Return shipping charges are the customer’s responsibility unless otherwise agreed. 

6. Return Inspection:

We inspect returned goods for reasonable care during possession and completeness. Restocking charges may apply for items not in as-new condition.

7. Refund Process:

Refunds will be issued in the same payment form as the original purchase.
Allow up to 14 days for processing upon receiving the goods and 3-5 additional days for the credit to appear on your statement.

8. Faulty & Defective Items:

Within the first 180 days, we arrange a free return/swap service.
Replacement for defects within 30 days; repair by the manufacturer thereafter.

After 180 days, return costs are the customer’s responsibility, with reimbursement for proven faults.

‘No Fault Found’ fee up to 10% for non-defective returns.

9. Refused Deliveries:

A £20 cost will apply for refused deliveries after our delivery attempt.
